Ever wonder how it would be to lead a police station or a police division. It’s not just about patrolling roads, conducting direct surveillance and investigating crimes. Leading a police station or a policing division is an intricate business for the untalented and unskilled. It involves maintaining the general peace and tranquillity of the society; proactive policing; collecting information and intelligence on criminals and crimes; engaging with local community leaders; helping the communities in need; partaking in community and social activities; being an ambassador of peace, harmony, human rights and social justice; and being responsible for the welfare of the community, the staff working under you.

As the name suggests the Atoll Commanders Course is especially tailored for future atoll and division commanders of Maldives Police Service. The training will impart you with the skills and knowledge to manage the day to day businesses of a police station or division. Being an atoll commander is a special duty and every such special duty comes with special responsibilities.
